Vincent Lappartient came to us to publish his work on Tbilisi, Georgia and when we met, it was a real meeting of minds. He first went as a backstage photographer to cover a fashion show and fell in love with the city.
Vincent decided to move there for a while, and worked his way into the Georgian intelligentsia where he found the financing to publish a book on the city. The format and creative freedom our collection represented was just what he was looking for and he came to see us.
Thanks to Vincent, we discovered the magic of a city that we did not know before. His powerful, sensitive and just images sketch a picture of the Georgian life that he lived through the people he met, with a great deal of sincerity, affirming the artist’s eye he turned on this city and its inhabitants.
